Dear 2017,

Thanks for bringing it!

As I sit back and reflect on you, several things come to mind. You were a big one. I entered you as a family of 6, something I had been dreaming about for several years. I turned 35. A prayer I prayed for more than 6 years was answered. We sold a business. We moved, again. We started new businesses. I finally woke up and was not in pain, for the 1st time in over a year. I made new friends. I walked away from old ones. We lost a beloved family member and new life was given to another. You proved to be an exhilarating year full of grit, choices and courage provoking risk. I liked you a lot.
