Hi friends,
It's been a minute since I have posted, and I have missed you all! My team and I have been busy working away on some exciting new things. We'll keep you posted and be filled with anticipation, cuz' its' GOOD!!
But for now, let’s talk.
I have been doing a lot of reflecting and writing lately, and am reminded that words count. Say something! And when you're going to say something, wear something, read something, make your words count!! I'm listening, HE’s listening, all the babies are listening. The whole world is listening.
And what I felt convicted to be mindful of this week, is that I have a choice when speaking. And my week's focus verse reminds me to also be mindful of how blessed I am, and how much I LOVE MY LIFE! My life is abundantly filled with joy and love and laughter and all the glory be to God! Want to hear another story?
Coop gotta' tattoooooo!!!
He wouldn’t show his momma, so me and my sneaky sister and cousin did some covert special forces operations kind of crap, and got him to send us a picture, so I could show her! He got the biggest, loudest black ink tattoo reading, "John 10:10" Yep...a bible verse. Tattoos don't get much sexier than that!
I’m not afraid of Coop getting mad, because he’s not able to talk right now, so there! Silver lining. Cooper needs our prayer. Cooper was involved in a tragic accident about 4 weeks and sustained a traumatic brain injury, amongst a list of others.
And the thing is, it isn’t by coincidence this young man had this verse tattooed on his body. Knowing his momma, it took BIG courage and self assurance for him to choose to proclaim it so boldly. Mr.Cooper Douglas Heishman. He’s a handsome little fella and he happens to be my little cousin. Remember when I mentioned above that I love my life? I do. I love it mostly, because I have this crazy, cool family that has allowed me the grace and support to mold into the human God made me to be.
It was by choice, that Cooper proclaimed HIS truth.
IT was by accident, that Cooper was hurt.
It is by LOVE, the Cooper is healed.
IT is life. LIFE is love. LOVE is Jesus.
So, what can we all learn from this?
Be like Coop. Be so confident in your calling that you proclaim it as loud and proud as you feel so inclined to do.
And be reminded that “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it abundantly.” John 10:10

xoxo
Mollie
